Howard Grosfield

Biography

Mr. Howard Grosfield served as the President and General Manager of Amex Canada, Inc. since May, 2010. Mr. Grosfield served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Amex Bank of Canada since May 2010. Mr. Grosfield lead the Canadian Executive Team, provide oversight for all Amex's business in Canada. He also directly manages Amex Canada, Inc.'s Consumer Card and Small Business Services group, leading the Marketing, Acquisition, Product Development and Insurance areas. Mr. Grosfield first joined American Express in 2004 as Vice President in the Strategic Planning Group before being appointed Regional Head of Marketing for Latin America, Carribbean and Canada. Most recently, he returned to his native Canada to serve as General Manager of the Small Business Services group. In this role, he was responsible for developing the Small Business growth strategy for Canada and for its expansion into other international markets. Prior to joining American Express, Mr. Grosfield was a Principal with The Boston Consulting Group and a lawyer with Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Amex Bank of Canada. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Gibraltar Ventures. He has been a Director at Indigo Books & Music Inc. since June 29, 2015.
