Biography
Dr. Slotwinski graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in biology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry with clinical honors and is certified by the National Board of Optometric Examiners. Her certification includes the use of diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents for the treatment in ocular disease and infections. She is also licensed to treat glaucoma. Dr. Slotwinski enjoys fitting a large variety of contact lenses including specialty contacts for keratoconus and post-surgical transplant patients. She has received training and additional certifications for scleral, hybrid, multi-focal and monovision contacts lenses.
