Biography
Ms. Natale has been a nurse practitioner since the early 1970s. In 2011, she retired as chief nursing officer of the Detroit Medical Center, the largest health care provider in southeast Michigan. Ms. Natale has served in various transformational leadership roles and has significant clinical transformation, health care technology and device integration experience within magnet-recognized clinical environments. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Wayne State University and has presented at national conferences on topics such as transformational leadership and improving patient care. Ms. Natale was a Wharton School of Business Nurse Executive and a Johnson & Johnson Wharton Fellow. She is an active community leader and serves on the boards of visitors for two schools of nursing and is past member of the Michigan Task Force on Nursing Practice. Ms. Natale is a member of the American Nurses Association.
