Biography
Since 2005, John Purcell has served as Vice President - Energy Division for Leeco Steel, a leading steel supplier to the North American Wind Tower Industry. For the past eight years, John has participated in the lobbying efforts in Washington D.C. on behalf of Leeco Steel and AWEA. John has been a member of AWEA’s Policy Committee for 5 years. He began his career in steel in 1990 with the Bethlehem Steel Sales Training Program. Since then, John has worked in the Metal Service Center Industry – 12 of those years have been with Leeco Steel. He holds a B.A. in business from Michigan State University.
