Biography
Jack Y. Zhang, Ph.D. has served as Amphastar Pharmaceutical’s Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors since its inception in 1996. He has also served as Amphastar’s Chief Science Officer since 2005 and as the President from 1996 until June 2013. Dr. Zhang has over 35 years of experience in chemistry, physics, management, and training including operations management of a chemical manufacturing facility with more than 2,000 employees to the start-up of an analytical laboratory serving defense cleanup.
