Biography
Dr. Edward Wolynic has over 35 years of executive experience in the chemicals, refining, and advanced materials industries. Until 2006, Ed was Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer as well as an elected officer of Engelhard Corp., responsible for global management of technology and corporate venturing functions. Previously, he was Vice President of Research & Development at Honeywell UOP; Vice President of Research and Development at ISP Corp., and Director of Technology for Union Carbide Corp. Throughout 2009, Ed served as interim-Chief Technology Officer of Honeywell's Specialty Materials business. Now a consultant, Ed has a board and advisory practice that specializes in advising early stage companies, and he also consults to several Fortune-500 corporations. Ed has an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University.
