Mahendra R. Patel

Biography

 Dr. Mahendra R. Patel, PhD serves as the Chief Scientific Advisor of Aprecia Pharmaceuticals Company. Dr. Patel serves as President of Navinta. He served as Chief Executive Officer of CorMedix Inc. From 2000 to 2004, at Sandoz, a Novartis affiliate, Dr. Patel served as Chief Scientific Officer in charge of Global Pharmaceutical Development, and also as Support Leader to the Business Development and Merger & Acquisition groups. From 1983 to 1999, he was Vice President and Co-founder of Invamed Inc. He holds eight U.S. pharmaceutical patents and has published and presented more than 20 research papers. Dr. Patel received his M.S. and PhD degrees in Pharmacy/Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Gujarat University, India.
