Adam Thomas

Biography

 Adam grew up knowing that he wanted to turn world-changing ideas into realities. After completing his undergraduate studies, he greatly expanded his practical knowledge of systems and process engineering under the direction of senior engineers at Honeywell Aerospace’s research and development pilot-plants while he furthered his understanding of chemistry by taking master’s classes at night. After several successful years with Honeywell, Adam’s search for a world-changing idea lead him to Arcanum. Though metallurgical engineering represented unknown territory for him, the team was made up of people whose passion for pushing the technological envelope matched his own. In January of 2012 Adam joined newly formed Arcanum Alloy Design in the technology incubator at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and ever since has enjoyed developing Arcanum’s platform technology as much as he has enjoyed developing Arcanum’s unique culture.
