Biography
Mr. Michael G. Raab, also known as Mike, has been a Venture Partner of New Enterprise Associates (NEA) since June 2002. Mr. Raab has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Ardelyx, Inc. since March 2009. Prior to NEA, he served as Senior Vice President of Therapeutics and General Manager of Renagel of Genzyme Corp. from 1999 to 2002. From 1998 to 1999, he served as Vice President of Business Development at the Therapeutics Division of Genzyme, responsible for the identification and in licensing of new therapeutic product opportunities. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from DePauw University.
