Biography
Andrew Lye has more than two decades of mining experience and has been with Rio Tinto and its subsidiaries for over 20 years. In February 2016, he assumed duties as General Manager, Studies, at Resolution Copper and in November 2016 he became the Project Director for Resolution Copper. Before coming to Arizona, Lye led the La Granja copper project in Peru. Andrew has previously led studies, project development, commissioning and operations of block cave mines, integral to future success at Resolution. In addition, he has led operational, support and technical teams across the globe, working in Peru, Madagascar and Australia.
