Biography

Chuck HeimerdingerChuck Heimerdinger Partner, Assurance Services Ernst & YoungChuck is an audit partner and has more than 23 years of public accounting experience. He joined Ernst & Young's audit practice in 1986 in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to the Ernst & Young Phoenix office in 1995.Chuck has extensive experience with health care providers, payers and foundations and has served both public and non-public companies. His experience also includes advising clients on business combinations and debt offerings. For several years Chuck participated in the Firm's Audit Quality Review and Peer Review programs, reviewing Ernst & Young's compliance with policies and procedures as well as reviewing compliance of another Big 4 firm. He has also served as the firm's Americas Provider Care Sector Resident, Arizona practice Campus Recruiting Coordinator and Arizona Resource Management Partner. Chuck is currently responsible for the development and deployment of the firm's education programs for provider care companies.

Research Interest

Chuck received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Louisville. He is a certified public accountant licensed to practice in Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky and New Mexico and he is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Chuck is currently the Chair of the Peer Review Oversight Advisory Committee for the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and has previously served as Treasurer for the Self-Employment Loan Fund and a Board member for the Arizona Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Chuck has also served as a speaker for HFMA and an instructor for Ernst & Young professional development courses.
