Biography
Scott Rehorn is managing partner of RED Development, one of the nation's leading real estate development firms. In addition to being one of the firm's founders, Rehorn leads RED's leasing activities for its national portfolio of 33 retail, commercial and mixed-use properties totaling 16 million square feet across 11 states. Headquartered in Phoenix, RED has 80 employees throughout Arizona with a local portfolio that includes 12 properties totaling nearly 7 million square feet.With 30 years' experience as a commercial real estate executive, Rehorn has been involved in many signature projects throughout Arizona, including the groundbreaking CityScape development in downtown Phoenix, the revitalization of Town & Country, and Flagstaff’s Aspen Place—a mixed-use development anchored by Whole Foods and REI. Rehorn has also been instrumental in developing strategic relationships with some of the nation's most recognized brands and sought-after retailers, restaurants and entertainment tenants.Rehorn currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation. He is also a member of UMOM New Day Centers' Patron Board of Directors and recently completed an eight-year term on the Board of Directors of Aid to Adoption of Special Kids (AASK) where he finished as Chairman. A graduate of the University of Kansas, Rehorn also served on the University of Kansas Medical Center Advancement Board where he and his wife Susan founded the Sarcoma Learning Collaborative.Rehorn lives in Paradise Valley with his wife, Susan, and four children, Kassie, Tatum, Coleman and Grayson.
