Biography
As vice president of government and community relations, Tim Bee is the primary liaison between the University of Arizona and local, state, and federal government. He joined the University in June of 2011 following his appointment as director of the governor’s Southern Arizona office by Governor Janice K. Brewer in 2009. As a former state senator, senate majority leader, and president of the senate, Tim was widely acknowledged for his successful efforts to build consensus by working with members of both parties to find common sense solutions to state policy issues. Tim is a third-generation native of Arizona and was born and raised in Tucson
