Biography
Tim Hartin joined Tucson Medical Center in April 2013 at Chief Legal Officer. He is an experienced General Counsel for integrated healthcare systems, with a long-term strategic perspective, a responsive, practical, client-centered approach to practicing law, and a history of building credibility and trust with staff, administrators, and physicians.His responsibilities include all legal aspects of compliance, contracting, and business operations; legal and strategic adviser to the hospital and clinic leadership teams responsible for strategic, financial and operational success of TMC.
Research Interest
Tim was educated at the University of Richmond, VA, where he received a BA with honors summa cum laude in 1984, followed by receiving his law degree at Harvard Law School, J.D. cum laude in 1987. He is a member of the Arizona, Texas, and Wisconsin State Bars, and also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and Texas State Bar Health Law Section.
