Biography
Robert Reinhardt, MD, has held numerous academic and corporate positions and his experience encompasses a broad range of therapeutics areas. He is currently Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the Stryker School of Medicine at Western Michigan University. Dr. Reinhardt was Chief Medical Officer at Phadia US, Inc. (now part of ThermoFisher Scientific, a Fortune 250 company) from 2000-2015. While at Phadia, he directed all medical affairs and education activities, and also had oversight responsibility for Regulatory Affairs (FDA), Quality Management (QSR) and Commercial Compliance (Open Payments). After attending the University of Michigan (Studies in Religion) and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, he completed residency training at Brown University / Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He has subsequently held full-time faculty appointments at all three of those universities. Board-certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Reinhardt is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
