James B. Campbell

Biography

 Dr. James Campbell holds a Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry. For more than three decades, Dr. Campbell served in roles of increasing responsibility at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, most recently as department head for lead generation. During his tenure at AstraZeneca, Campbell established a chemical technology section that focused on the development and application of combinatorial methodologies and automation to drug discovery. Dr. Campbell is currently an independent consultant for the pharmaceutical industry promoting the exploitation of novel discovery strategies.
