Biography
Tounya is a native of North Carolina. Prior to joining AOC in 2011, she started and grew two thriving hand programs. Having worked closely with outstanding hand surgeons, Tounya has gained valuable knowledge and experience with a variety of diagnoses. She has over 17 years of experience with upper extremity and hand injuries and has been specialty certified in hand therapy since 2004. Tounya believes that therapy is a team effort between doctor, therapist, and patient. Each person using their skills, communicating and working together leads to the best outcome. Tounya is active in her church and enjoys kayaking, making various crafts and spending time with her husband and two grown children.
