Biography
The focus of my research is the design and synthesis of molecular imaging probes for MRI and PET. Current projects include: Development of new molecular probes for imaging fibrin; Development of new F-18 labeled PET tracers with improved pharmacological properties for imaging mGluR4, which will be characterized in preclinical models of Parkinson's disease; Development of F-18 labeled PET ligands for imaging mGluR2, which will be studied in preclinical models of Alzheimers disease and schizophrenia.
