Biography

 David S. Huntley, SEVP and Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for developing policies to safeguard the privacy of customer and employee information, and verifying compliance with legal and regulatory requirements of every country and jurisdiction in which AT&T operates, as well as AT&T internal compliance requirements. David has held this role since December 2014 and has more than 20 years of business and legal experience with the company. Prior to being named chief compliance officer, David served as senior vice president and assistant general counsel for AT&T Services. In this role, he oversaw a staff of 47 attorneys and managers located in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New Haven, Detroit, St. Louis, San Antonio, Cleveland, Chicago, Bedminster, Oklahoma City and Dallas. David and his group were responsible for providing legal support to the Home Solutions organization and the Global Marketing organization. Additionally, he was responsible for Legal Department administration. Prior to serving as senior vice president and assistant general counsel, David served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for all legal functions of Advertising Solutions and Interactive operations. He has also served as senior vice president of Mobility Customer Service Centers where he led a team of more than 30,000 employees dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service to our wireless consumer market. In addition, David has served as senior vice president of E-commerce and Direct Mail, Customer Information Services and has held significant positions in external affairs, wireless operations, mergers and acquisitions, data operations and other areas within AT&T. David takes pride in giving back to his community. He has served on the executive committee of the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast, and at the Greater Houston Partnership, where he chaired the Government Relations Advisory Committee. In addition, he was a board member of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau and served on the 2004 Houston Super Bowl Host Committee, a not-for-profit group dedicated to bringing acclaim to Houston and the NFL. David was also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Texas Bar Foundation, the San Antonio Zoological Society and the San Antonio YMCA. He currently serves on the SMU Alumni Board, the Baylor Health Care System Foundation, the Texas Business Hall of Fame and the Executive Leadership Council. A native Texan, David holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in New York and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He and his wife, Tracey, have two sons, Calhoun and Porter.
