Biography
Scott Van Arsdell Ph.D Vice President, Immunoassay Technology, has more than twenty years of research and development experience in the life science industry and played a key role in the development of the SearchLight multiplex immunoassay platform at Pierce Biotechnology in 2001. Scott was Director of Research and Development for the SearchLight group at Thermo Fisher Scientific when Aushon acquired the platform in 2009. Scott was instrumental in the launch of several quantitative mRNA detection assays as Senior Research Scientist at Endogen and developed DNA probe diagnostic tests for periodontal pathogens as Senior Scientist at OmniGene. Scott has a BA in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College, a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, and completed postdoctoral training at University of California, Berkeley.
