Biography
Dr. Detlef Schneider, born in 1969, has been the COO of AutoForm since 2017. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining AutoForm, Dr. Schneider worked at Altair. Starting as a Support Engineer in Germany and working his way up in the company to Technical Director, Dr. Schneider went on to become Managing Director of Altair in Germany. In 2011 he relocated to the USA to become Senior Vice President of Solver Products. Dr. Schneider returned to Europe in 2014 as Senior Vice President EMEA, responsible for the management of sales, technical support and marketing. At AutoForm, Dr. Detlef Schneider is responsible for global operations
