Biography

In his role as the executive vice president of sales, Hamilton Baiden has seen Avella Specialty Pharmacy's annual revenues grow by over 1000 percent since joining the company in 2005. Responsible for overseeing all sales initiatives, Baiden has implemented successful strategies at all levels of engagement. He oversees all future sales direction as well as all sales planning. Baiden's knowledge and understanding of the pharmacy industry was developed throughout his professional career, working in various roles for prominent pharmaceutical sales companies, including MedImmune, Serono, and Daiichi and Sanofi. Since entering the industry in 1992, Baiden has developed professionally into a highly-motivated, proven leader with the unique ability to generate enthusiasm among his colleagues and customers. A graduate of The Citadel in Charleston, S.C., Baiden maintains his professional edge by attending various continuing education seminars and programs designed to enhance his sales and marketing skills as well as keep him up to speed on the latest industry trends and developments. With strong ties to his community, Baiden served as chairman of the board of directors for a local nonprofit organization dedicated to animal welfare, Altered Tails, and currently serves as the vice president of the American Liver Foundation Southwest Division.
