Biography
Pete Bartolotta leads the transformational and operational aspects of Avnet to enable growth, deliver superior customer experience, and optimize efficiency, productivity and cost. The areas of: digital, transformation, global integrated solutions, global design and logistics report to him. Additionally, Bartolotta oversees Premier Farnell, a business within Avnet’s ecosystem that utilizes a digital platform to provide innovators and engineers with the latest products, services and development software. Bartolotta reports directly to Avnet’s CEO William Amelio. Bartolotta has extensive P&L and operations experience in addition to expertise across supply chain management, engineering and quality. He has a proven track record of transformative change and profitable growth. He most recently served as the CEO of Terra Point and MD Toxicology Group. Prior to that, Pete led the Helicopter Services unit of CHC Helicopter as COO and president, where he implemented global systems that significantly reduced 172 disparate systems down to six enterprise systems and led transformation efforts to improve operational efficiency. His career spans leadership roles at Lenovo, NCR Corporation, Allied Signal and IBM. He received his B.S. in chemistry from SUNY Binghamton and an MBA from University of Texas at Austin.
