Biography
Dr. Shwetal Mehta received her MS from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, India, in Molecular Biology. She earned her PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2003. She completed her postdoctoral work in the Charles Stiles Laboratory at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Her postdoctoral work was focused on the identification of a potential therapeutic target for high-grade gliomas. She joined the Barrow Brain Tumor Center as an principal investigator in January of 2013.
