Carole Huberman

Biography

Dr. Carole Huberman received her doctoral degree from the Union Institute and University in Public Policy and Feminist Scholarship. Prior doctoral work was also performed at Penn State in Public Affairs in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to the academic work performed at both Union Institute and Penn State, Dr. Huberman holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, Fels School of Government. Her research agenda includes both public sector and private sector topics given that Dr. Huberman holds a Masters Degree in Accounting-Tax Law from Temple University. At Temple, she performed undergraduate work in Business Administration. Dr. Huberman is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Forensic Accountant. In 2010, Dr. Huberman won the Bright Lite award from Harvard University, Kennedy School of Government for her work in Government Innovation and Change Management during a time of fiscal austerity. In addition to her administrative duties, Dr. Huberman holds faculty rank as an assistant professor and teaches in both the Masters of Public Administration and Administration curriculums at ACE. Prior to joining Barry University, Dr. Huberman was the Chief Audit Executive for the Pennsylvania Department of Treasury.
