Cindy Mccoy

Biography

Cindy McCoy comes to Barry University from Southern West Virginia Community & Technical College where she served for 32 years. During her tenure at Southern she held the rank of Full professor and held the chair position of the Humanities and Developmental English department, and chair of the Humanities and Social Sciences department before moving into administration as the Dean for University Transfer Programs. As Dean, Cindy was the Director of Southern College ‘s Assessment and Dual Credit programs. She also served on the West Virginia’s State task forces for Developmental Education and Higher Education Assessment.
