Biography
Daniel Hahn is the Plans Section Chief for the Santa Rosa County Florida, Division of Emergency Management, the Citizen Corps coordinator, and the coordinator of SAFER Santa Rosa, the county COAD (Community Organizations Active in Disasters). Daniel spent 22 years in the United States Army prior to starting his career in emergency management in 2006. Daniel was named the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) 2009 Emergency Management Professional of the year. Daniel is also a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) through International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM). Daniel earned his master’s degree in Emergency and Disaster Management with American Military University, graduating with honors, and an MBA specializing in homeland security policy and leadership through Northcentral University. Daniel is a member of the Editorial work group for IAEM, and is on the editorial advisory board for Continuity Insights magazine, as well as an editorial board member for the Journal of Business Continuity & Emergency Planning. Daniel serves on several boards, including Healthy Start and Bridges out of Poverty. .
