Biography
Dr. David G. Wolf is an Associate Professor of Health Services Administration for Barry University’s School of Professional and Career Education. Dr. Wolf graduated from Villanova University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administrative Science. David graduated with distinction from Cabrini College in 2007, where he received his Master of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership and graduated in 2012, obtaining his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with highest honors from Eastern University in St. Davids, PA. Dr. Wolf began his career in the long-term care industry in 1983 and purchased his first nursing home 1990. He successfully grew his company and at the time of the sale in 2000, his organization encompassed a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, home health care agency, nurse staffing agency and outpatient rehabilitation facility. In February 2013, David accepted an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science appointment in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Wolf is currently working as a Co-Principal Investigator on several research projects that include topics related to long-term care, leadership and mentoring. David currently serves on the graduate council, distance education committee and is a member of the awards committee of the Center for Community Services Initiatives (CCSI) at Barry University. Dr. Wolf is a member of the Board of Directors and a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators and is a certified nursing home administrator, certified Assisted Living Administrator and certified administrator of Subacute Care Services. He is a licensed to practice in both Florida and New Jersey.
