Biography
Fernando M. Perez, associate professor of sociology and criminology, earned the BS and MS from Florida State University and the Ph.D. at the University of Miami. Perez teaches courses on criminology, white-collar and corporate crime, drugs, and social problems. His professional interests include sociological and criminological theory, race-ethnic relations, cultural and Latin American studies, and the "wars" on crime and drugs. His recent work was published in the Journal of Social Work in Disability and Rehabilitation.
