Biography
Before becoming an attorney, Professor Frederick Jonassen taught in the Department of English at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. During that time, he published a dozen articles on the English literature of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. After graduating from law school, Professor Jonassen served as judicial clerk to the Honorable William C. Lee, Chief Judge of the Federal District of Northern Indiana. Professor Jonassen spent three years in private practice with the firm of Baker & Daniels in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and then returned to the classroom at the Florida A&M College of Law before joining the Barry Law faculty in August 2004. Professor Jonassen has published articles on international labor law, law and literature and legal history, and religion and constitutional law.
