Inge Nickerson

Biography

Dr. Nickerson received BS, MBA and DBA degree from Louisiana Tech University. Her primary teaching and research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship, consulting, and strategic planning. In addition to publishing numerous articles and cases in scholarly publications, she has co-authored two books and been invited to teach and present her research findings at universities and conferences throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Dr. Nickerson has actively promoted entrepreneurial education at Barry University, serving as a Sam Walton Fellow to Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) at the university. Her students have been recognized for the quality of their work at regional and national competitions. Dr. Nickerson's industrial experience includes business development and strategic planning activities. Additionally, she has consulted on strategic planning issues with dozens of small and medium-sized firms.
