Biography
Dr. Khaled Deeb is a full-time faculty member in the School of Professional And Career Education (PACE) at Barry University. Dr. Deeb is an associate Professor and the Program Director of Information Technology. Dr. Deeb is actively involved in research activities that integrate technologies with human performance and corporate development while bringing to the classroom some of the most innovative technologies to empower students with both the technical knowledge and entrepreneurial skills necessary to excel in today's competitive environment. Dr. Deeb was awarded a full scholarship from NASA to pursue his PhD during which he focused his research and publications on data mining, artificial intelligence, and semantic knowledge. He has collaborated with researchers and physicians from various universities and government entities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, www.cdc.gov), on various grant and research projects. His current research include biotechnologies, biostatistics, health informatics, artificial intelligence, and data mining.
