Biography
Chad Rogers served 10 years in the Kentucky National Guard as a medic supporting troop health for the 201st Engineering Battalion. During his time in the National Guard he served in Ecuador, Barbados and various in-state areas, providing multi-faceted levels of care. Rogers is a two-time graduate of MSU. He earned an associate of applied science degree in nursing in 2001 and a bachelor's of science degree in nursing in 2005. He also completed a master's degree in nursing with an emphasis in education in 2010. He also graduated the paramedic training program at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. His main area of practice in emergency medicine was in a mill. He worked the ambulance and logged thousands of hours performing confined space rescue. Rogers has also worked in the critical care setting in two area hospitals. He is a seasoned ICU and ER nurse. In addition to teaching registered nurses he also spent four years teaching licensed practical nurses.
Research Interest
Chad’s clinical interest include correctional nursing, critical care nursing and emergency nursing.
