Biography
Dr. Kim Clevenger began her nursing career in long-term care as a MDS coordinator and was later appointed director of nursing for a nursing and rehabilitation center. She then joined an area medical center and worked on medical/surgical units and home health. Dr. Clevenger brings 17 years of clinical expertise into the classroom from her experience in geriatrics, long-term care, medical-surgical, and community health nursing. Dr. Clevenger also writes for a variety of nursing textbook publishers
Research Interest
Interests include student retention, online learning, cultural competency, and the use of service learning in the educational arena.
