Biography
Jeremy Uecker is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Baylor University. He has completed his Ph.D., Sociology at University of Texas at Austin in 2010 & M.A., Sociology, University of Texas at Austin in 2006 & B.A., Political Science and Sociology, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, Furman University in 2003.Dr. Jeremy Uecker’s research focuses on religion, family, sexual behavior, stratification, mental health, and the transition to adulthood. His current projects include a study of the effects of religion and science perspectives on socioeconomic and religious outcomes, as well as a study of the changing role of religion in the family formation of young adults in the United States over the last 50 years.
