Biography
Steve Block is currently working as a Lecturer of Political Science at Baylor University. He has completed his B.S., Political Science, North Carolina State University & M.A., Political Science, Baylor University & Ph.D., Political Science, Baylor University. Steve Block's interests range from the History of Political Thought, Public Law, American Political Thought and Development, Contemporary Political Thought, and Politics and Literature. His dissertation examines the thought of Aristotle and J.S. Mill on the relation of speech and rhetoric to politics, law, and technological progress. He is also working on how the US Supreme Court understands the purposes and limits of freedom of speech.
