Tawanda Gumbo is working as Investigator, Director, Center for Infectious Diseases Research and Experimental Therapeutics. Honorary Professor of Medicine, University of Cape Town, Observatory, South Africa. He id graduate from University of Zimbabwe Medical School, Harare, Zimbabwe. Post Graduate from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OhioResidency in Internal Medicine. Gumbo Major Scientific Contributions to Laboratory and Mathematical Model Design and The hollow fiber model of tuberculosis [“glass mouse”].

Major Contributions to Scientific Knowledge in Pharmacokinetic variability as the major driver of acquired drug resistance and therapy failure in tuberculosis.
