Biography
Wei Lin is working as Assistant Investigator in Baylor Institute for Immunology Research, Dallas. He did his Postdoctoral in Genomics and Epigenomics from Lab of Population Genetics, National Cancer Institute, NIH. He has experience Sci. Informatics Analyst III, Lab of Functional Genomics, Cold Spring Harbor Lab, NY, Sr. Biomedical Informatics Scientist, Contractor to NCI Center of Bioinformatics, NIH, SRA International and SAIC, Rockville, MD.
Research Interest
• Development of an in-house single-cell RNA-seq facility at BIIR • Development of robust tools for extensive analyses of high-dimensional data from single-cell RNAseq • Development of novel NGS-based new diagnostics • Development of B cell repertoire-seq protocol and analysis pipeline • Study of B cell/T cell development using repertoire-seq technology and a mouse vaccination model • Study of myeloma heterogeneity using single-cell RNA-seq technique
