Biography
Mr. Daniel J. Warmenhoven, also known as Dan, has been Director at Avi Networks, Inc. since December 6, 2016. Mr. Warmenhoven served as the Chief Executive Officer of NetApp Inc., (also known as Network Appliance Inc.) from October 1994 to August 19, 2009 and served as its President from October 1994 to May 2000. Mr. Warmenhoven joined NetApp in October 1994 and served as its Executive Chairman from 2009 to 2014. Prior to Network Appliance Inc., he served in various capacities, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Network Equipment Technologies Inc. from November 1989 to January 1994. Mr. Warmenhoven is a veteran of Hewlett-Packard Co., (HP), where he served as Senior Management Positions including General Manager of The Information Networks Group. He served as an Executive and Managerial Positions, including General Manager and Chairman of Network Equipment Technologies Inc., from November 1989 to January 1994 and Redback Networks Inc. since May 7, 2003. He served as the Executive Chairman of Mavenir International Holdings, Inc. (alternative name Stoke, Inc.). He has experience and expertise working with IT leaders will be important in guiding Avi Networks’ global expansion and continued innovation in delivering load balancing and applications services that support modern application architectures across data centers and private or hybrid cloud environments. He has extraordinary insights to Avi Networks and has a deep understanding of how to disruptive technologies to market. He has been Lead Independent Director of Big Switch Networks Inc. He has been a Director of Theranos, Inc. since December 02, 2016. He serves on the Board of Directors of two private companies. He has been Lead Independent Director at Palo Alto Networks, Inc. since March 2012. He serves as Director at The Tech Museum of Innovation. He served as Director at Bang Networks, Inc.
