Biography
Mr. Fulchino’s business experience spans 44 years during which he has gained expertise in major management disciplines, both as a business-unit and corporate executive and as a strategic advisor to senior management. Mr. Fulchino has assumed senior executive duties for 21 of these years and overall “P&L” responsibility for 32 years. In December 1999, Mr. Fulchino took on the senior executive responsibility for Aviall, Inc., a premier full-service, technology-based provider of component products and related services to the aerospace and marine aftermarket. He served as Chairman, CEO and President of Aviall, Inc. from 2000 to 2010 which was acquired by Boeing in 2006. Since Mr. Fulchino’s retirement in 2010 to 2014, he continued as an advisor to Boeing senior management. Mr. Fulchino has served on numerous public and private boards and non-profit organizations including Wesco Aircraft Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: WAIR) Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SPR), B/E Aerospace (NASDAQ: BEAV), The Sports Authority (TSA), and currently sits on the boards of AE Industrial’s portfolio companies, Belcan and Kellstrom Materials. From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Fulchino assumed the role of President and Chief Operating Officer of B/E Aerospace, Inc., a leading supplier of aircraft cabin interior products and services. Prior to B/E Aerospace, Inc., from 1990 to 1996 he was President of Oliver Wyman/Mercer Management Consulting, Inc. (formerly Temple, Barker & Sloane and Strategic Planning Associates, Inc.). Mr. Fulchino received an AB in mathematics from Boston College in 1969 and earned his MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business with a concentration in finance and operations research.
