Biography
Mr. Olza M. Nicely, also known as Tony, has been an Executive Chairman of Government Employees Insurance Company, Inc. (GEICO), a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. since 1993 and has been its Chief Executive Officer since 1992. Mr. Nicely served as President and Chief Executive Officer - Insurance Operations at Government Employees Insurance Company, Inc. in 1993. He served as President of Government Employees Insurance Company (GEICO), a subsidiary of Geico Corp. from 1989 to July 2013 and served as its Executive Vice President from 1987 to 1989 and Senior Vice President from 1985 to 1987. Mr. Nicely has been a Director of GEICO Corp. since 1985. He has been an Executive Director of Government Employees Insurance Company, Inc. since 1990.
