Biography
Peter Chang, MD, MPH, is a urologic oncologist, specializing in minimally invasive urologic cancer surgery. He also has an interest in complex open and debulking surgery. He is an instructor in surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Chang received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University and his MD from the Weill Cornell Medical College. He did his surgical internship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and completed his urology residency at the Harvard Longwood Program in Urology. He subsequently received the UrologyCare Foundation Research Scholar Award, which helped support a two-year clinical and research fellowship in minimally invasive urologic oncology at BIDMC. During this time, he also obtained a Masters of Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. After his fellowship, he joined the staff at BIDMC and became director of the Multidisciplinary Prostate Cancer Care Center.
