Biography
Dr. Kartik Gopalan joined the CS department at Binghamton in 2006. His research interests are in experimental computer systems, including Virtualization, Security, Cloud Computing, Operating Systems, and Networks. He received a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University, M.S. from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, and B.E. from Delhi Institute of Technology. He directs the Operating Systems and Networks (OSNET) Group at Binghamton. Dr. Gopalan is a recipient of the National Science Foundation CAREER Award. He has published over 60 refereed publications and received 8 US patents.
