Biography
Lijun Yin received PhD from the University of Alberta in CS and M.Sc from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in EE. Before he joined Binghamton, he did his post-doc fellowship at the University of Alberta, and worked at Chyron Corp. in Long Island, N.Y. and InfiMed Inc. in Syracuse, N.Y. as a computer graphics and image scientist. He is serving on the editorial boards of two international journals. He is the recipient of James D. Watson Investigator Program Awards from NYSTAR.
Research Interest
3D object modeling and analysis; Motion tracking; Face, gesture, and facial expression recognition and generation; Biometrics, HCI, Image analysis and synthesis.
