Biography
Steve has over 35 years of investment banking, executive and financial management experience. With a significant amount of experience in public company securities issuance and financial reporting, Steve has served as the Chief Financial Officer for two companies through the public equity offering process, managed a number of public and private debt offerings, managed numerous acquisitions, completed a $1.2 billion leveraged buyout and taken a large public company in and out of bankruptcy. Prior to joining CC Capital Advisors, Steve rejoined Christenberry Collet & Co. Inc. as a principal in early 2009 after serving as Chairman and CEO of Kokam America, Inc. a manufacturer of superior lithium polymer batteries. Previously, Lightstone was a Managing Director of Christenberry Collet, served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Premium Standard Farms, Inc. a billion dollar swine production and food processor until the company’s sale to Smithfield Foods, Inc. in May 2007. Lightstone earned a Masters in Finance and a Bachelors in Industrial Management from the University of Kansas and is a Certified Public Accountant. Steve currently serves on the KU Endowment Board of Trustees and the board of directors for the University of Kansas Medical Center Research Institute, Inc., the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City and the National Association of Corporate Directors, Heartland Chapter.
