Kennedy C. O’herron

Biography

Mr. O’Herron is founder and president of O’Herron & Company and has over 30 years of experience in the investment business. He also serves as managing director of Foundation Capital, Ltd., where his duties include analysis and funding of private placements, and consulting in all areas of management including operations and finance. Mr. O’Herron was previously a principal, portfolio manager, and investment strategist at First North Carolina Corporation in Raleigh, N.C. Prior to joining First North Carolina, he was Finance Manager for Edward M. O’Herron’s 1976-77 gubernatorial campaign. His earlier experience includes four years with Merrill Lynch Government Securities in New York as an economics analyst and trader. Mr. O’Herron presently serves on the board of directors of Eckerd Youth Alternatives as well as the boards of visitors for the Kenan Flagler School of Business. He is currently serving as chairman and CEO of Tavve Software Company. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received both a Bachelor of Arts degree (1972) and a Master of Business Administration degree (1980).
