Biography
Tim Burns has over 25 years of experience in the development, treatment, filtration and reuse of industrial organic and inorganic water and wastewater using advanced technologies. Mr. Burns previously founded three successful water treatment companies, the most recent being BioProcess H20 which he is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder. Mr. Burns is on the Board of Directors of OceanPoint Financial Partners and BankNewport. Founded in 1918, BankNewport is the oldest mutual savings bank in the United States. Burns serves on the boards of directors of BioProcess H2O and BioProcess Algae. He is an Incorporator of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute in addition serves as Vice-Chairman of the non-profit board of the Algae Biomass Organization of Washington, DC and on the President’s Leadership Council for Save the Bay. He is a trustee of St. George’s School in Middletown. Burns is an alumnus of Providence College and Brown University.
