Biography

As Senior Director of Global Biorepository Operations, Slone is responsible for the sample management operations globally including day-to-day tactical activities associated with sample administration, logistics, and transportation. Responsibilities include creating and implementing global policies and procedures, identifying and developing strategic opportunities to leverage services related to sample management, and leadership of all operations and logistics personnel.Slone has over 15 years of experience in senior level operational management roles in supply chain, inventory management, logistics, distribution and operations. Within these roles she has provided leadership and continuous business improvements across all operational disciplines both domestically and globally in the aerospace, automotive, industrial and commercial industries. She has led the development and implementation of best-in-class policies and procedures ensuring demonstrated compliance in a highly regulated industry utilizing Six Sigma methodologies. In addition, she has a strong background in project management and change management through the use of collaborative, methodical, action-driven tools and closed-loop procedures with an emphasis on risk analysis and implementations.Slone earned an M.B.A. from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University.
