Biography
Dr. Shailesh Chavan brings more than 16 years of experience in the international life science industry. Dr. Chavan joined Biotest in 2008 as Senior Director, Clinical Research, Drug Safety and Medical Affairs. Prior to joining Biotest, he held leadership roles at ClinTec International, Tengion, Cephalon and the University of Florida. Dr. Chavan's expertise spans drug and device development in multiple therapeutics areas including Immunology, Oncology, Transplantation, Neurology, Cardiology and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Chavan received his M.B.B.S degree from Seth G.S Medical College, India followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at the Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, India.
