Vimal P. Vimalaraj

Biography

 Mr. Vimalaraj is in charge of all phases of geological, geotechnical, and geochemical projects and is responsible for conducting, coordinating, and supervising geotechnical investigations for public and private sector clients. Mr. Vimalaraj maintains over 10 years of experience in geotechnical, transportation, construction, and research. Mr. Vimalaraj has extensive knowledge in current American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) geotechnical design procedures (ASD and LRFD). As the Engineering Division Manager, Mr. Vimalaraj’s coordinates and executes field exploration programs of future land development projects, and prepares geotechnical reports used for bidding and construction; he also performs geotechnical engineering analyses that include slope stability analysis, settlement analysis, liquefaction analysis, deep foundation axial and lateral load analysis, dynamic foundation analysis, bearing capacity calculations, pavement structural section calculations, and lateral earth pressure estimates. Mr. Vimalaraj is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Nevada, California, and Utah, and as a Geotechnical Engineer in California.
